I bought the very same dvd as pictured above on Amazon.de. Before I bought it I did a picture comparison based on the back cover and matched it with the vhs back cover. So it was a match alright and when I watched the movie it was Master Samurai. As you may know Commander Firefox was what Master Samurai was called in Germany. The picture quality, the trailer and how Christopher Mitchum looked like during the 70's and 80's was also the major part over what convinced me that it was Master Samurai. :)
Almost two years ago I bought another movie with Christopher Mitchum, Desperate Target. It was for sale on Todocollection and was a Spanish DVD release, distributed by Samurai under the title Los ojos del dragon. Spanish dubbed and was of very good VHS quality.
This movie is actually Master Samurai (1974).
ReplyDeleteYeah? Thanks, mate.

ReplyDeleteThanks, mate. I don't recall ever having heard of that movie. I wonder if there's an English friendly print.
