DOG TAGS (Philippines/USA, 1990)

aka DOGTAGS / DOG TAGS - PLATOON TO HELL

VHS / Australia / fulscreen / English audio / no subs (click for full size)

review: Frank (Australian Video Covers)
Dog Tags Directed by Romano Scavolini (Nightmares In A Damaged Brain) in 1988 is one kick arse Nam film about a bunch of soldiers who find out they are actually on a mission to retrieve a few boxes of gold dog tags and not some top secret documents, after they bust some buddies out of a POW camp in Cambodia.
Heaps of explosions, plenty of use of the word "Fuck", tits and 3 hardcore splatter moments that had me standing up to attention in this very well made flick. The locations and sets look fantastic and the photography is top notch even on full screen VHS which is how i watched it.
You can get this on R2 but that's full screen to unfortunately and I assume just a VHS rip.
Anyway I fully recommend it to anyone who digs Nam films or 80's action, the rest of yas can go back to your Hollywood blockbusters that came out last week.

VHS / Japan / English audio / Japanese subs

DVD / Germany / German dub / Released in both a cut and uncut version. This cover is the u/c one

VHS / Norway / probably fullscreen / English dub / Norwegian subs (click to see full size)
