  1. Just want to say I love your blog!

I've been interested in dodgy (but highly enjoyable and fun) action films for years but never really paid attention until recently.
I have a few including Mattei (mainly Jap VHS), Dawson (DVD) etc. So this site (along with Tough To Kill) really helps me. Thank you!!!

I need to check out Filipino flicks now!

What would be really really nice if for each film you find/review you state all releases known and if there is a DVD out there? (Unified footnote maybe?) Obviously you may not know but at least this can help folks who prefer slim cased DVDs to VHS. And also what is the ultimate version to get (quality and length wise).

You're now on my daily lunch-break reading list. lol

  2. Hey Mr A!

Thank you for your kind words about my wee blog! Happy you found us (that's a royal "we", there's just me, LOL). :D

Believe it or not but I actually already mention whenever films are released on DVD! The problem is just that hardly any of them are. It's depressing so few of the Filipino films are out on DVD and even the Italian Vietnam war flicks on DVD are few and far between. Maybe I'll try and do a list of all the ones that are released on DVD.

On your daily lunch-break reading list? Kewl!!

  3. Hey,

Thanks for the warm welcome! :)

I think that's what I was asking, a nice wee (I guess it will be wee) list of what is out there. :)

    Keep up the great work

  4. No worries. And thanks. Good to know someone's interested in this stuff. :D

Bikini girls with machine guns

Yep, this video is from the one they're watching in Tarantino's JACKIE BROWN. It's an awesome video; I mean all it is is a bunch of scantly clad sexy babes with automatic guns going: "This is an AK47" pow pow pow pow - Haha. Absolutely fantastic! xD.
