Jayson says:
Quite the poor release, no extras, just a few chapter stops. Interlaced widescreen transfer. No burned-in subtitles, unless they were "matted-over" by the widescreen bar. Released by "Italian Stallion", distributed by Ventura Distribution.
Big thanks goes out to Jayson for the info and screen grabs. Cheers, mate!
I've seen worse, maybe I'll buy it! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it looks better than my worn Greek FS tape. :/
ReplyDeleteThe Japanese VHS Tape is Very Nice. This is of course the inspiration for David & myself for our book ... Tough To Kill :) .

Picked up an R4 edition today that is some sort of pro-bootleg I guess, it has the Italian Stallion logo in the corner for a few seconds over the title so perhaps it's the same as the R1. Letterbox but the quality is pretty average.

ReplyDeleteHey VWNT! Gee, that's some rare tape there! I've never stumbled over it on eBay either! And yes, you're absolutely right: AN ABOMINATION!
