Shopping for trashy war

This week there is ONE Japanese video release that ought to wet your appetite if you haven't already got it! Our English buddy Spiralheadcase over in Japan is having Antonio Margheriti's COMMANDO LEOPARD up for auction. The tape is English dubbed and letterboxed. Go here. There is one day to go and so far no bidders. You may be lucky and get it at the opening price, $7. :D

Another tape you might wanna check out is the Cirio H. Santiago film SAVAGE. Miltos from Cinehound has the Greek PAL VHS up for auction and it runs another two days (almost). The auction is here.

And if you don't know the movie I recommend that you check out this entertaining video docu which I posted a little while back. Go here.

  1. I've got that Commando Leopard, it's a great tape. Just watched Machete Maidens Unleashed, the documentary on exploitation movies from the 60's to 80's in the Philippines and there is quite a few interviews with Santiago, footage from his films including Savage, and a few insights into Roger Corman's true feelings for the guy! Mandatory viewing!

  2. Cool! Needless to say I want to watch that too when I get a chance! Did you watch it at the movies or is it on DVD now?

  3. It was co-financed by our national TV station and I managed to get a copy on DVD that they will be using to air on television shortly. It only showed at one local cinema the one time!
