NICK NICHOLSON about this blog:
"Then we have Jack Jensen's WHEN THE VIETNAM WAR RAGED... IN THE PHILIPPINES, for those of you who don't know Jack, he is a very serious collector of the stuff that was made in the Philippines. Actually to say serious is an understatement. He is totally rabid about it!"

What are Filipino war movies?

Where to download these movies???

Sometimes readers ask were they can download the films mentioned on this blog. I'm afraid I can't help you. Most of these films are old video tapes that I've spent months, and sometimes years, on tracking down. I'm simply not interested in downloading movies and I have no clue as to where you can do that.

I want to own real releases. On a rare occasion I might swap a dvd-r with someone (or nice readers send me dvd-r's for free).

If you wish to try and track down the old video releases I would recommend eBay, Amazon, and Cinehound forum's trade section.

And try YouTube. Everything that isn't owned by big Hollywood studios seems to go on YouTube these days.

When you're done here you might wanna check out these fine sites:

"BALLISTIC BLOOD BULLETS" by Paul Cooke (trashy war flicks and beyond)
"BAMBOO GODS AND BIONIC BOYS" by Andrew Leavold (tons of Filipino film info)
