Margheriti's lesser known follow-up

Antonio Margheriti (aka Anthony M. Dawson) directed two war flicks that are pretty well known, THE LAST HUNTER (aka L'ultimo cacciatore, 1980) and TIGER JOE (Fuga dall'archipelago maledetto, 1982). However, it's less well known that he also made a third war movie, TORNADO from 1983. According to a David Warbeck interview on Andrew Leavold's blog the two first ones where filmed in the Philippines but I haven't been able to dig up any info on where the third one was filmed. My bet is it was also made in the Philippines (it was certainly released there as, according to the less than reliable IMDb, it was released under the title Last Blood). Anyhoo, I just bought the Greek VHS and thought you'd all like to dance around the table with me in sheer happiness over this joyful event. xD xD xD

Incidentally, the Filipino Vittorio De Romero directed movie FIREBIRD CONSPIRACY (1987) was released in Finland retitled Tornado 2 with a cover than leaves no one in doubt they're trying to convince you it's a sequel, LOL.

In response to the cover, Bert Spoor, who was in the movie, wrote this on Andrew Leavold's blog:

Regarding the cover of the Tornado-version, this person, obviously a drawing, doesn't look like any of us white guys on the set, this wound however on the right side yoke-bone is exactly what was done to my face.(See sidebar of my blog) So this good-looking is suppose to be me ?????
I have no idea why all the cast have fictive names, credits should be given to; Steve Rogers, Nick Nicholson, Willie Williams, Pita Wittle, Peter Barker and Lenny Urso.

Also just in :D
