A coupla tips

One of my favourites is on eBay right now and for the next three days! It's the violent horror Vietnam War movie PHANTOM SOLDIERS. Spiralheadcase (a Brit in Japan) has the awesome Japanese video up for auction. So far there's been no bids. Go here.

Another highly entertaining (and violent) Filipino flick is Teddy Page's BLOOD DEBTS starring Richard Harrison. More fun than a casket funeral!! Find it here. Bert Spoor is in it.

And more rad stuff! W IS WAR (also on Japanese VHS)!! Awesome. I've got all these tapes myself and one of you guys ought to get these fab releases as well! Go here.

The usual disclaimer: I've got nothing to do with this seller nor his auctions.

Bert Spoor (with the glasses) and Harrison dubbed into French in BLOOD DEBTS (aka Eleminator), LOL.

  1. Thanks for the heads up Jack. What a better way to start a Jap VHS collection than with some 'Pino war movies. I won them all (Phanton Force had some competition, but Blood Debts had none, so it evens out) and added the hard to find horror Spider Labyrinth to the mix as well. Looking forward to seeing all of them.

  2. You're welcome and congrats with the tapes! I did follow the auctions and remember thinking "there's some lucky fella getting BLOOD DEBTS for peanuts", LOL.

Both PHANTOM SOLDIERS and BLOOD are among my favourites. Needless to say, we don't all feel the same way and you might like them less than I but I hope you'll like them. They're both over the top and violent. As I wrote, Bert Spoor (from Holland) is in BLOOD DEBTS and if you look in the bar to the right you'll find an interview with him.
