The original LAST BREATH. Finally. Well, HOPEFULLY!!!

The original HK edit of LAST BREATH which is released internationally as JUNGLE HEAT is impossible to find and until two months ago I couldn't even find a bootleg of it. However, I finally tracked one down (from FLK) and ordered it right away. Waited a month and finally received it (all the way from Dubai), only to find out they'd sent me the DUBBED INTERNATIONAL CUT!! And on top of that they had sourced it from the CENSORED German DVD!! Then another long 4 week wait (despite their promising to ship out the replacement as soon as possible - or maybe it really DOES take a full month for a letter to get from Dubai to Europe!). Got the replacement DVD yesterday and put it in the DVD player right away... only to see the bastard freezing one chapter into the film!!!!!!! :( :( :(
Then skip a chapter: same thing!! Freeze, freeze, freeze! A two month wait had ended with a bloody DVD freezing up all the way thru. Lemme tell ya buddy, I WAS NOT HAPPY!!!

However, fortunately, luckily, fantastically, I tried it with my dvd recorder and it SEEMS it plays fine. Phew! I haven't watched it yet so I may still be in for a nasty surprise but all the chapter beginnings play fine so cross my fingers. :D

  3. I've used FLK twice in the past.

They're nice guys but the DVD-R's they use are awful - with both orders I had to copy all the discs they sent as they simply wouldn't play!!

  4. They live by the kung fu codex so they HAVE to be nice! LOL.

But jokes aside, yes they're the nicest people and too bad about the disks. Fortunately this is the only one I've got so far that was faulty (but then again I've got a handful of their dvdr's laying around unwatched which makes me very very nervous now!!!!!)
