Argh, sometimes I ought to kick myself in the head! I've kept an eye on this VHS release of Teddy Page's BLOOD CHASE on eBay all week and then when the day arrives I %&#"+ forget all about the &%¤#" tape!!! :-(
Well, congrats to whoever got it. I'm not aware of other releases than this Greek video tape (but there might very well be some, I've just never seen any). I posted the trailer for the film recently (check "trailers" in the bar on the right if you wanna watch it).
Oh well, it'll turn up again some day. Everything does. :-/

You might wanna check out gixen.com, free ebay auction sniper service, so you don't have remember all the interesting auctions. Just put the sum you willing to pay and that's that. I have been using it without any problems for year or so.

ReplyDeleteI just went to my local DVD rental place this evening that is offloading all it's old VHS tapes and has been for some time. For 50c I picked up "Blood Chase" Aussie PAL video on Peacock Films, a cheapo label that now does cheapo DVDs instead. I had no idea what I was looking at - just another action movie for 50c I thought - until I looked it up on my iPhone in the shop and saw it was "Phantom Soldiers" Teddy Page as director!
ReplyDeleteI am transferring it to DVD now for backup. The transfer is a bit soft and worn but perfectly watchable. Happy to send you a copy Jack if you don't have one at all. Teddy Page is credited as Ted Johnson both on the cover and the opening credits!

Wauw, you got that for 50 cents! I lost out on the film on Greek VHS at an auction in September. :(
