Battle Rats - the Turkish way

Check this out! In my search for rare & violent Turkish Cüneyt Arkin films (yes, I watch other films than from the Philippines, LOL) I stumbled over this Turkish VHS release of BATTLE RATS! Pretty cool that it was released there. The tape is dubbed in Turkish and no I didn't buy it (but if you want to click here).

  1. I think I already write ( I am not sure now) the main actor of this battle rats credited as Jack Gilbert was a main face & regular actor at IFD & Filmark under different names.
His real name is Brent Gilbert, he is from New Zealand & he became IFD main star after the departure of Richard Harrison, Stuart Smith & Bruce Baron.
He starred most of his movies "against" Mike Abbott in the first chapters of War City ( Win to die, The extreme project) later he continue the war city saga without Abbott in Kingdom of power & law of honor. These 2 last titles used filipino action movies as main source.

Brent Gilbert also starred other sagas at IFD such as Advent Commando along Mike Abbott & other regular actors from Joseph Lai's factory.

it can be told Gilbert & Abbott are the actors who played more roles at IFD. More than anyone else including Richard Harrison.

At Filmark Brent Gilbert worked under few fake names such as Brent Rivers or similars. He played at war movies that usued Thai movies as main source or modern day actioners such as Terminal Angels where his co-star was Chatchai Plengpanich, the star of Cannibal Mercenaries. No need to say this movie is a cut & paste experiment & Gilber & Plengpanich are never seen together on screen.
Most of time at Filmark he was supported by Gregory Charles Rivers another gweiloh & regular face in HK movies.
